La co\u00e9ducation en maternelle, une pratique inclusive\u00a0?<\/h3>\n\n\n

La communaut\u00e9 \u00e9ducative s\u2019accorde sur le fait que l\u2019implication parentale et la collaboration avec les enseignants ne peuvent qu\u2019am\u00e9liorer la r\u00e9ussite scolaire des \u00e9l\u00e8ves. Toutefois, travailler avec les familles au sein de l\u2019\u00e9cole primaire, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire construire dans un contexte d\u00e9mocratique, qui accorde \u00e0 toutes les familles une reconnaissance de leurs comp\u00e9tences \u00e9ducatives, rel\u00e8ve dans le contexte actuel du militantisme. En effet, ce fonctionnement semble entrer en contradiction avec une logique de comp\u00e9tences qui, implicitement, accorde de la valeur \u00e0 celles utiles \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie occidentale. Ce que d\u2019aucuns nomment co\u00e9ducation<\/em> se traduit par une explicite guidance des familles dans le but d\u2019accompagner au mieux leurs enfants dans leur scolarit\u00e9, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire, de r\u00e9pondre aux attentes \u00e9conomiques et politiques de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 occidentale ; l\u2019homog\u00e9n\u00e9isation des savoirs lissant alors la diversit\u00e9 des comp\u00e9tences et des cultures. Comment d\u00e8s lors impliquer les familles les plus \u00e9loign\u00e9es de la culture scolaire \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole tout en respectant leurs singularit\u00e9s culturelles ?<\/em> Nous proposons des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 partir d\u2019une exp\u00e9rimentation men\u00e9e en 2017-2019 en grande section de maternelle, dans une classe de REP de Perpignan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The educational community agrees that parental involvement and collaboration with teachers can only improve the academic success of pupils. However, working with families in the primary school, i.e. building in a democratic context, which gives all families recognition of their educational competences, is militant in the current context. Indeed, this operation seems to contradict a logic of competences which implicitly values those useful to the occidental economy. What some call coeducation translates into explicit guidance of families in order to best support their children in their schooling, i.e., to meet the economic and political expectations of contemporary occidental society; the homogenisation of knowledge then smoothes out the diversity of skills and cultures. How then can we involve the families furthest from the school culture in the school while respecting their cultural singularities?<\/em> We propose some answers based on an experiment conducted in 2017-2019 in a kindergarten class in a REP school in Perpignan (France).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
